  • Our talented Sunken Prairie guides and dogs will put you on some of the wildest birds in the Midwest. Enjoy mild walks through Reetz Farms and the peaceful South Dakota scenery.

    Season: October-January

  • Day County sits in the heart of the national waterfowl migratory pattern. Millions of ducks and geese migrate through this prairie pothole region because of the abundant water and cropland for feed. Our guides will put you on the hunt of a lifetime and you will be running out of shells to shoot!

  • Only a handful of whitetail hunts will be issued to Sunken Prairie members. Reetz Farms holds a large wild whitetail population that is closely managed. For this reason, they grow some of the biggest bucks in South Dakota.

  • Warm up for an upcoming bird hunt or go hang out at the range, Sunken Prairie will provide range clays, gun and ammo rentals.

  • Sunken Prairie has an abundant gun collection from you to choose from if you are interested in testing other firearms other than a shotgun
